READ LOCAL 2022

Read Local is our annual author event celebrating local authors.

The event runs from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2022. The Ballroom will contain booths where local authors can sign books, play games with readers, host giveaways, and any number of interactions with attendees. The Bullock and Brimhall rooms will contain larger supplementary activities such as panels, workshops, games, etc. Those activities will be determined by the requests authors make in the form below, so be sure to make those requests!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

If you are an author (traditional or self-published), please submit an application (on the right) by Saturday, October 1st. All genres welcome.

If you have ideas for programs that you can facilitate, make sure to specify them in the application.

Authors will be let into the building and into their respective areas to set up at 9 AM. Authors are provided with one 8-foot banquet style table and two chairs, and are encouraged to bring tablecloths, signs, flyers, books, helping hands, electronics, and anything they might need for successful operation of their booths and programs.

The application deadline is Saturday, October 1, 2022, after which applications will be reviewed and authors will be contacted.
