Learn about classical music by holding, touching, and playing musical instruments, then stay for a concert.
Bach in the Library is a project to introduce children to classical music by allowing them to hold, touch, and play musical instruments. In addition, all will be treated to a live concert recital in which the children take the roles of program attendants, usher, light person, and doorman. The lights are dimmed and musicians walk out in front and do a concert. Afterward everyone receives their own program which the musicians autograph. This program is suitable for children preschool through high school.
